You must monitor what is happening in your business on a monthly basis. Concentrate on those areas that you have the biggest success. Take all the products that you incur income from, include them in an excel spreadsheet and convert each product to a percentage of revenue - each product is part of the bigger picture.
Then look at the number of transactions that generate the revenue for each product. When you look at both charts, you will see that even though one product only produces a small percentage of sales, the income is from a high number of transactions so you may find that this front end product is driving back end offers.
You are able to see trends in each area of your business ie. a drop in sales, an increase in popularity of one particular product/service in your business. Make sure that the biggest areas of your business continue to grow and as new technology comes out that the site still continues to function properly.
